A graduate of the University of Puget Sound, I’ve worked at Pierce County Library System in Tacoma for many years, most of that time as supervisor and lead library trainer, but also as an IT specialist and webmaster.
I am the owner and editor of WA-List.com, a site celebrating “anything and everything Washington State.” I’ve also given talks about Washington State and its history. I’m almost a life-long Washingtonian.
My photographs have appeared in Washington State Tourism Commission publications, Running Times magazine, library blogs, websites, and publications, and throughout WA-List.com.
I am an avid reader, writer, cyclist, hiker, Washington wanderer, photographer, birder, baseball fan, 16-time Bloomie, and dad of three wonderful girls. I try to approach life with humor and not take myself too seriously. Hiking around Mt Rainier and long-distance cycling all over the Northwest are passions of mine. I’m out on the trails as much as possible. Always take a book and a camera with me, of course!
